I don't know this newspaper, but they seem to know what they are talking about.

Looks like a lot of homerism. How can you not put Jasper Brinkley as one of the top players in the SEC?

Why not us?? South Carolina, 2010 SEC EAST CHAMPIONS!

they didn't have Andre Smith listed as one of the top players either. That's a barner newspaper.

The same way they don't put Johnathan Luigs, the best Center in the country, as one of the top players in the SEC. Myopia. And there probably isn't 50 cents worth of difference between Alabama's uniform and Arkansas' yet Bama is no.1 and Arkansas is no.11. I don't get that part.

-Richt as #1 coach? Not hardly...he's a great coach, but he's not the top. Saban at #3? He's done nothing at Bama...and sorry, but Spurs has rested long enough on his laurels.

Not a good list at all...IMO.

Guy is an idiot.

"Matthew Stafford, Georgia QB: Probably more valuable to potential NFL team than Georgia. He's a throwback to the days of drop-back passers."

Is he serious? Did he not see Stafford's rushing numbers against Auburn in 06? What an idiot.

most of this list is a joke, but exactly who would you put as the best coach?

As I can see, this list seems to be quite controversial, because there is a lot of left field babble, but also a lot of legitimacy to some of these rankings....
