Default Breakdown of SEC Rivalries
The SEC has it's fair share of rivalries.
Alabama/Auburn- The most heated
Georgia/Florida- Close second in my opinion
ETC ETC

I've noticed that these rivalries can get pretty dat gum dirty.
I've seen at least 15 fights between Bama/Auburn folks, including my own family members. I've seen offensive T-shirts, hats, and many posters and banners from fans of multiple teams. The thing is that most of the fans of SEC football are gentlemen/ ladies, with a sense of class and respect, so most of it is fun and games. Then again, there are always a few bad apples in every bunch.

I've pondered into the depths of these rivalries and have attempted to breakdown why some of the SEC are so intense.

I think the main reason is our southern pride. We sure are stubborn. When we vow our loyaly to a team, it's 100%. We love our team, we will defend every aspect of our team, and no one is gonna make us think differently. I think that this is one of the main reasons that Bama/Auburn is so heated. The fans of both teams are from the same parts, have the same types of parents, and the same morals. The only difference between um is what side they chose.

So why are people of the same nature so confrontational? That southern pride

On the other hand, Georgia fans and Florida fans don't seem to share as much in common. What's with the big rivalry?

Just a few things I was pondering. Insight would be great.
