These are two good players, but it's hard to get playing time when you're backing up great players. I wish them great success with their new teams in the future!

Well, you can definitely look at it as a positive when you have so much talent, players transfer elsewhere. The only negative aspect is this puts a dent on the depth at OL.

matt allen was highly recruited but max holmes wasn't. both were third stringers for whatever reason. i wish them well. u can't have enough OLmen these days

Last year I was really happy when they moved my son to JV off of varsity.

He is a pitcher and on JV he got to pitch in alot of games. On varsity, he would have only pitched in blow-outs. He was 7-1 with 2.38 ERA and frankly not as good as some of the other pitchers on varsity.


I can understand wanting to play and every team in the SEC has players that decide to do this.

I expect UGA will go through something similar at the rate they are signing great players as well.
