Gotta agree with GatorBait. In fact I think UGA-GT is bigger than Clemson-USC... our series has been more competitive, and there's usually more at stake.

Yeah. The USC-Clemson game isn't what it used to be, and would be a lot better if both teams had good seasons. Bleh.

I agree that rivalry decided a lot of national championships but USC-CU rivalry is a more heated rivalry.

I think it even could top the iron bowl now and days...but that a gators opinnion
Nope, I will definitely say that the FSU vs. Florida rivalry doesn't top the Iron Bowl. I have relatives that went to both Bama and Auburn and FSU vs. Florida isn't really even close to the kind of hatred that exists in the Iron Bowl.
Shanksta which game did you lose all your vCash on???
I'm not sure if you're being serious or just messing with me, but if you're serious then I lost 30,000 on the Saints vs. Eagles playoff game last year. I bet we would cover a 4.5 point spread and we only won by 3. Then the next week I lost over 59,000 on the Saints vs. Bears game when I bet us straight up. Needless to say, I only bet on college now.

Lol I decided a long time ago I'd never bet on pro football. I guarantee you the day that I bet on the Patriots winning, they'd lose to Buffalo.
I think it's right on. UF/FSU doesn't have the history USC/Clem has. What we lack in our rivalry lately is national importance. But that will change soon enough. It's true that this rivalry isn't just about football, and even sports for that matter, it goes pretty deep.

I don't know. I know I'm young, but it just doesn't come to mind when I think of nationally significant rivalries that are really big. I think OU vs. Texas, Auburn vs. Bama, OSU vs. Michigan, etc. It's like Kansas vs. Missouri. It's a huge rivalry between the schools, no doubt but it just doesn't come to mind on a national scale. The most news it has created in the last decade or two was the brawl.
