Here is a look at next week's matchups for the Top 15 BCS teams. Clearly, we are gonna be in for another great weekend of college football and another enormous shakeup of the Top 15.
#1 Ohio State @ #25 Penn State
#2 Boston College @ #8 Virginia Tech (Thursday Night Game)
#3 LSU - BYE
#4 Arizona State vs. #21 California
#5 Oregon vs. #12 USC
#6 Oklahoma - BYE
#7 West Virginia @ Rutgers
#9 Kansas @ Texas A&M
#10 South Florida @ #23 Connecticut
#11 Florida vs. #18 Georgia (Neutral Site)
#13 Missouri vs. Iowa State
#14 Kentucky vs. Mississippi State
#15 Virginia @ NC State
The top 4 teams that are playing this weekend are all playing against ranked teams, with the top 2 going on the road.
Six of next weekend's matchups will feature two teams ranked in the BCS Top 25, and only 2 of the 6 games feature the higher ranked team at home.
At least 2 of the the Top 12 teams definitely will lose this weekend.
I bet Boston College wished they had been ranked at least #3, #2 has not fared too well the last 3 weeks. I predict this will be the 4th week in a row that the #2 team has been upset.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

I hope that Boston College wins this week. It would be much better for the Gators for us to jump ahead of Virginia Tech now, rather than them picking up steam and staying in front of us. If Virginia Tech loses now and then Boston College loses later there is a good chance we will be in a position to jump Boston College by the time they lose. If they lose on Thursday, then both will likely stay ahead of us and we would need another loss from both.
It's a shame that the PAC 10 doesn't have a conference championship game. The winner of this game could very well win out and remain in the National Title picture. If they had a championship game, there is a much better chance that they would both lose a game before the season's end. That's what I'm hoping will happen in the ACC with Boston College and Virginia Tech. Unfortunately the Big East doesn't have one either, so South Florida and West Virginia also stand the same chance of running the table that much easier from here on out.
Absolutely a crazy year in college football. I can't imagine a 2 loss team in the NC game, but this year anything possible. That list could definitely look total different this time next week. It is really a huge probability...especially with Boston College, Arizonia State and Oregon.
With LSU being idle this week, they have a good chance to get back to #1 if both tOSU and BC lose. I think BC will have their hands full as will the Buckeyes playing in Happy Valley at night. tOSU has never played very well there for some reason. It might be a good game to watch. Ohio State 21 Penn State 13

Read my post that I quoted right below yours. I think it would be better for us for Boston College to win this week.

But who do each of them play later in the season?
BC - FSU and Clemson only two teams that would even have a shot IMO.
VTech - FSU, GTech and Virginia.
Do you feel strongly enough that if BC wins they will lose a different one? If so, VTech isn't that great and will probably lose another one too. I could see both of these teams losing 2 in the last few weeks.
Your way may be better if you think Clemson has a shot.

Where are the games at? You're right, I hadn't considered who they are playing for the remainder of the year. I was counting mostly on the conference championship game knocking off the winner. In any case, it may be a long shot.
