| I live in Chattanooga just 1.5 hours south of Knoxville. Unless they actually move up on one of the Mountains, snow is a non factor. We hardly ever get snow! | ||

| I'm more of a big city guy myself and have never been to Clemson, so I can't comment on that. I have, however, lived in Knoxville, Chattanooga and throughout East Tennessee and loved every bit of it. That said, I loved living in Chattanooga the best. Certainly a little more scenic than Knoxville and more "family friendly" than Knoxville. All the perks of a city without alot of the negative stuff that usually comes with it. Plus, you are only 1-1/2 hours from Atlanta and/or Nashville if you're looking for big city entertainment or sports. I loved every minute in Chattanooga, but unfortunately I fell in love with and married a Texas girl that was incredibly home-sick and I needed a career change. We will be back there one day, however!! | ||
| Phyllis-But it is a big deal. You almost killed Stanley. Dwight-Yeah right! I filled him full of butter and sugar for 50 years and forced him not to exercise! | ||

| Clemson isn't even a town per se. Its pretty much just the campus and some old school shops and restaurants. There are surrounding towns like Easley, Travelers Rest, and Greenville that are ok. Kind of in the boonies except for Greenville. | ||

| I'm a city guy too so I'd definitely prefer Knoxville. IF they prefer the quiet country living then Clemson may be more up their alley, but even if they do choose Clemson I'd recommend something more along the lines of Easley, Seneca, or other towns around Clemson (like Beeds said). If they actually live in Clemson there will be no escape from all the college kids. If you want to do anything not Clemson related you're probably going to have to drive a good 30 minutes or more unlike Knoxville. | ||
