Here's a link featuring a chat between Urban Meyer and Gator Fans which answers some questions about the upcoming season. He doesn't go to much detail, but it has some interesting things about the upcoming Gator squad.
Here are a few sample questions. . .
[Espo] Coach, is DeShawn Wynn looking to be the starting running back? And do you see us having a QB rotation or are you looking to just start one QB the whole game? Coach Meyer: The running back job is wide open and we will use more than one quarterback at times.
[Knife Knarrsuls] Will we be doing anything different for the 100th year of Gator football? I've heard we may have throwback helmets for one game. Any truth to this? Coach Meyer: We have some special plans for the 100th year of Gator football and our Marketing and Promotions department is heading up this effort.
Yep he refuses to give the responces that people are looking for. . . its just how his personallity is though. I wondering how long it will take him to actually brag on some players who have real talent. He seems hard to impress to say the least. His team could win a NC and he'd say, "they could have played better." haha
The way Meyer is being hyped up in Florida, if he doesn't win at least nine (9) games in 05 people are gonna kinda peeved and letdown.
That is very true, haha, GatorNation fans that aren't too true to the cause will be straying off to be Carolina fans and follow Spur again, lol. I think Meyer has better chances to win 9 games with his talent/schedule at Florida that if he landed any other job. Florida should never lose more than 2 or 3 games. If you look at Zooks losses you will see that so many of them were close and last minute flukes that just happened.... Meyer will have at most 2 losses this season.
Not very talkative, but then again, Meyer doesn't have to be. Hopefully for him, communication will be well enough for him to get through to his players.
