Who will be the best SEC quarterback in 2005? 1. Ainge - Tennessee
2. Russell - LSU
3. Leak - Florida
4. Croyle - Alabama
5. Shockley - Georgia
6. YetToEmerge - South Carolina

I think Leak will be the best. It will be interesting to see who is under center for Carolina next season.

Leak probably won't have as much good support from the offensive line and receivers as Ainge will. That's why I picked Ainge.
But, LSU's offensive line is going to be gangbusters and they have a slew of fast-as-the-wind receivers, so... if JeMarcus Russell gets it together, watch out!

I'd bring it like this:
1. Leak
2. Croyle
3. Ainge
4. Shockley
5. Russell
*Don't forget about Omar Connor either. He showed some great talent in a few games last year and should only be getting better. I think this list really seperates after the number 3 slot.
One thing I do know, is that an Arkansas QB will not be on that list. God.....I miss Matt Jones already.

finally someone uses their brains and doesn't list Ainge as #1. Sorry guys Ainge doesn't have enough experience to best in the sec next season. Jaylupo your picks look good but I would swap #1 and 2 Croyle (If healthy) will by far be the best next season.

Don't see it. From what I saw of Shockley, he looked like Michael Vick
minus the talent.
Mike Vick - Talent + Georgia = Shockley
Shockley is going to get shocked!!!

Shockley can throw and run,he just makes mistakes and he might have the best offensive line in the country this season.

Yes,he will not be the best QB in the sec,but I think with 3 great RB's and a great tight end he will do fine.

You mean Ware right?
The guy that was coughing up blood after the hit USC LB Ricardo Hurley laid on him.
