Sometimes you need a different perspective to appreciate garnet and black.

As for USC's jerseys, they are going to look like this:

Definitely not as nice......it looks like a different color red. Probably just the light...

Wasn't easy to find a good example of Razorback red, but this is pretty good. I would say that Arkansas red is simply red. While looking around I discovered the Razorbacks used to be called the Cardinals. Back in 1910 the head coach made a comment that the team played "like a wild band of razorback hogs" in a victory over LSU. The students liked it so much they voted to change the mascot. Very similar story to Bama's "Crimson Tide" nickname. I guess the red is a carry over from the Cardinals nickname.

I still disagree. That is a dark red I will say, but I think its closer to garnet than our red. Look at my sig pic, those are not the same colors.

Yeah... I know what you are talking about. The Arkansas red is indeed very red, almost cherry red. One thing I noticed this year was their helmet has a metallic finish to it. I cannot find a picture yet to show my point.

Looks to me like Arkansas has almost a Brick red, where as Georgia has the brightest red in the SEC. Ark's is just a bit darker and more solid

The University of Georgia website under traditions calls the color "Good ole Georgia Red." I think it has a red clay quality to it and having lived in Georgia I would agree.

I did not know that the oval "G" on the helmet was instituted by Vince Dooley when he became head coach in 1964. The Bulldogs have great looking uniforms.

It certainly is one of the better uniforms in college football. Something about that darned "G" just gets ya......as for us(c) we have different uni's every season so we never settle on something like that
