A final Thank You to some special players
Wanted to recognize a special group of young men that is entering the NFL as we witness this past weekend, and say thanks for supplying us with some great memories that will be hard to forget. And wish them the best of luck and good health as they enter the National Football League.
These are some I would like to give thanks to.
Darren McFadden - In his three years in the SEC he gain more than yardage. He gain the respect of every team in the conference.
Glenn Dorsey - Down linemen like this comes around rarely. With nagging injuries he still prevailed to show what he was made of.
Derrick Harvey - A quarterbacks nightmare. A true SEC pass rusher which will fit in perfect at the next level.
Felix Jones - A tremendous athletic who was in Dmac's shadow, but would be the top dog on any other team's offense in America. Should provide thrills in Big D.
Quentin Groves - Like Dorsey, Quentin was plague by nagging injuries. His athletic skill should prove several honors in the NFL.
Jacob Hester - I have always said the Jacob would make it, and be successful in the NFL. This guy will find a place as a professional.
Andre Caldwell - This guys is the poster boy for "Big Time Players". A real go to guy. Seems he has been in the conference for 10 years. I only hope his stay in the NFL is a long one as well.
Craig Steltz - A real old school player in Steltz. A guy that was a hoot to watch on Saturdays. Rare for a player in this era to give his body on every play for his team. Hope he can stay healthy in the Bear defense.
Jacob Tamme - I've only been familiar with Tamme for two years now. But I like his style. A big play maker can make the Colts better for years to come. Peyton Manning just got another great target.
Andre' Woodson - Andre` was a fun player to watch. Always possible of posting huge number, could fit in well as a pro.
And Finally my favorite player in the SEC the last couple of years.
Peyton Hillis - This is what a SEC player is all about. After a successful freshman season, Peyton stepped aside the following year to make room for a young kid from Little Rock named McFadden. He didn't gripe because his role was about to change. He strapped it up each Saturday and did what it took for his team to get a W. After getting some poor deals from the staff which didn't seem to know how to utilize him at times, and a few nagging injuries, he proved to both the SEC and the nation he was a elite running back as well as a blocker. Great hands and solid leadership skills. He will represent the SEC well as a Denver Bronco next season. Keep you eye on this guy in 2009.
Guys thanks for putting it on the line in the SEC and for making the conference the strong league it is. And the memories you have provided will be talked about in coffee shop's around the south for years to come. Best of luck in you new profession.

McFadden was something to behold. I remember telling my dad about him when he was coming out of high school.
He will definetly be something special in the NFL. I just wish it wasn't for the Raiders.
Thanks to them all! We have been fortunate enough to enjoy them in the college ranks and now they have moved into their professional lives. I wish them all luck and happiness at the fulfillment of their dream...playing in the NFL!

And don't forget your sister's 13 chins. Try pulling the bitch away from her trough every once in a while. Spend a little money to put the pig in some program to help your family. After-all McFadden can afford to take care of his nine kids aszwipe.

LOL @ TD getting riled up.
A big thanks to Wallace Gilberry and Darren Mustin. They were class acts on and off the field, and we can only hope that they rubbed off on some of our players.
