Default Kentucky Could Go All the Way
I'm not a Kentucky fan but I'm smart enough to know that (although I go for them) Auburn's not going anywhere this year. I will be rooting for the SEC in the big dance and I really think Kentucky could go all the way. I know they're young but it's gonna be fun watching people around my age play basketball way better than I ever will be able to :P.

The national media doesn't seem to be giving UK much of a chance but I really think every team in the country has been inconsistent this year and UK is my nat champion pick.

Please, PLEASE knock on wood for Kentucky fans' sakes. Our team is extremely talented but none of them (outside Perry Stevenson and Ramon Harris) has ever participated in the NCAA tournament so I'm unsure how they will perform at this stage of the season. They are a great team but they are young and generally experience seems to win out at this time of the year, especially in these post-season tournaments such as within each Conference as well as March Madness. I may be optimistic about our chances but I do know thay we are one of the most talented teams in the nation and thus have a better chance than most at bringing home the title back to the SEC where it belongs.
Atlanta Braves 35-26

Rondo sums up what all Kentuckians think of Louisville, "If I had the choice to either play for Louisville or not play at all, I wouldn't play at all."

It will be interesting for sure. They are easily the most talented team outside of Lawrence this season, and probably have more raw talent than the Jayhawks this season. I think UK will probably not have a team capable of beating them until the Elite 8. They will just be a tough team to predict in the tourney. What happens that game in the round of 8 when they are going to play a great team who probably matches up well against them with only 2 days of rest? How will they respond to playing great team after great team? With all the young players, it will be tough to predict how they will perform in the tourney.

Still, I see no reason why they will not be playing Kansas in the NC game. Those two teams have clearly separated themselves from everyone else.

^^^this. Again KDawg is on it. I've watched UK and KU more than any other teams this season. They are very similar ball clubs in the ways they've won this season and in being favorites (along with Cuse) to make the semis/finals yet both are very capable of dropping a game as early as the second round. The one thing that gives each a very real possibilty of an NC are the big men in what is the season of the big man. (Head to head I think Cousins would own Aldrich and hopefully we'll get to find out.) I feel more confident than ever this year that as the tourney rolls on we will find fewer and fewer teams without legit 4s or 5s.

The National Media hates the SEC........hence why they don't give UK a chance.

Nope KY won't win it all they have no coach when it comes to the big game. They couldn't even play in the Big East. They will loose in the elite 8 if they are lucky enough to get that far.

Kentucky is too young to win it all, and not consistent enough shooting. If you shut down their inside game it seems to put a lot of pressure on their shooting game. Alabama just didn't have the depth to maintain that pressure. In the end I'm pulling for a SEC team to win it all, but I don't think they have enough experience in the starting 5. If it was based on talent alone though, just go ahead and give Kentucky the title.

Sounds like a bitter person right there. I am sure he was saying that about Memphis when Cal was coaching there the past few seasons.
