That would make UK a distant second to John Wooden, not UCLA. They had a decade of dominance.....we've been dominating since the sport began, and since. We have more #1 rankings in more all-time categories than anyone. We have won national titles under 4 different coaches. That's prolonged excellence and the sign of a great tradition. The one year UCLA didn't go to a title in the 60's? UK was there. The last game John Wooden coached? Was against Kentucky in the MNC game. UCLA wasn't crap before and really weren't after. I mean, even Notre Dame and St. John's have won more basketball games than the Bruins. Give me a break. They have come on lately, but we've won 2 titles since they won their last 1 (over your Hogs might I add.) There is zero question that Kentucky is the most storied, greatest and history laden program in college basketball. Period.

UK and WKU have only played 5 times....UK holds a 3-2 edge. While I would enjoy seeing a series started, Kentucky-Louisville is about 20 BILLION times more important than UK-WKU.
