1) .450 avg, 15 doubles, 8 homeruns, <30 strikeouts
2) .500 avg, 15 doubles, 3 triples, 15 steals, <10 strikeouts
From what I have gathered over the last 5 or so years, this is what they are looking for as a base. You also have to a good sense of awareness and show the scouts that you have room to improve. Most players max out their abilities before they reach college.
Of course, there is always the JUCO route which is a little less demanding. However, there are a TON of players that fall into the JUCO talent category. |
