Columbia, SC - Florida sophomore right-hander Billy Bullock (Balm, Fla.) (4-3) matched a career high with seven strikeouts over 5.1 innings in relief to propel the 22nd-ranked Gators (28-16/13-9 SEC) to a 9-3 victory over No. 12 South Carolina (31-15/11-11 SEC) in front of 4,861 fans on Friday night at Sarge Frye Field. UF’s third-straight win marked its first triumph of the year in the initial game of a road weekend series and improved Kevin O’Sullivan’s squad to 8-8 against ranked teams.
