Agree. Our problem last year was pitching and I think we have answered that with our recruting. Our pitching staff is going to have depth this year and our offense is tremendous. Hopefully we make it back to Omaha and win a freaking title this year. No more going there and winning nothing.

Isn't it amazing what benefits are derived from a little success on the field.

[Now if we could just get a little carryover of that into our football program.....]

That's a funny ranking system. Ole Miss is ranked 32nd yet picked up the most Louisville Slugger All-Americans in the country.

Theres a grea article about our recruting class

http://www.baseballnews.com/recruiti...ng_results.htm

One of the main reasons we are ranked so high is that we have those 3 guys that we drafted that early in the MLB draft. I mean guys that throw 96 mph in college that is just ridiculous. Those guys showed class and the showed that they wanted to get their education when they turned down that large sum of money. Hopefully we make it to Omaha and win out this year.

I will second that. It's really impressive. Satterwhite for Ole Miss hit 99 on the gun as a freshman last year.

3 out of 4 years ranked #1 in the Nation in recruiting....

It is time that these players step up and establish their dominance on the field, however.

Our team last year was down a bit, but hopefully that is now taken care of and we can assume our natural place in the top 5 in college baseball and finally win the World Series.

After 2 tries in the Championship game we are due and these classes could help us to win not just 1, but a couple of titles.....

Definitly looking good for the Gamecocks, its why I'm taking you to win it all this year

I'm surpised OSU is ranked so low on that list (#39) we have what is being called our best class ever coming in. The last time people talked like that it was when Buck, Nickerson and Gunderson chose to stay at home and play for the Beavs...they won the nati title as juniors and went to the college world series as sophomores-(for the 1st time in 50 years for osu). Oh well I don't give a crap about the rankings, scouts rarely look at the northwest-they haven't had much need to in recent years .
