Default Ortiz vs Griffin
With UFC lacking luster the past few months IMO... the Ortiz/Griffin 2 fight has been one of the better ones.

Ortiz looked good early on, but couldnt stand up with Forrest. He wasnt as strong and therefore Griffin got out of ever take down Tito delivered. As soon as Forrest gets busted up and is bleeding he starts dominating from then on.

Always good to see Tito Ortiz lose.

I agree. The UFC has pretty much sucked since the Griffin/Silva fight. Last night was fairly good.

What about that badazz Russian Vladimir (cant attempt to spell the last name)? What fighting league is he with? Why dont he fight some of these big name guys? I just started watching a little of this stuff so I dont know all the details. I seen him fight twice and he is a beast. They said his record was like 30-1, even said he might be the best in the business. Is there not anyone out there that would be a good fight with him?

I think you mean Fedor Emelianenko... his middle name is somethin like a vlad name... he fights with Pride, and many want him to fight Brock Lesnar... hes considered the best heavyweight right now.

Preciate it Cianne...I was way off on the name. Jables picked up on it , its Fedor I was talkin about. Like I said I just started watching since seeing him fight a while back. Is lesnar the next best in line to fight him? He has Been badazz every fight I have seen him in, I would like to see someone that can hang in there fight him. I hope it dont get like boxing was during the Lewis days where there is just not anybody in there to compete with him.

Fedor wants the Lesnar fight im sure... but UFC is being hard headed about it and wanting him to leave PRIDE and sign with them. Until then no dream fight.

Lesnar was scheduled to fight Carwin on last saturdays card, but due to H1N1, the match has been rescheduled for UFC 108 on January 2 2010.

Didn't UFC buy Pride out? I thought we were going to start seeing a lot of "consolidation" matches to get some undisputed champions
Were you blessed? I guess for never knowing which road you're choosing.

they even pulled the Jan 2 fight. lesnar doesn't have h1n1. dont know where you get your info but all they would release is that he has something intestinal that may be career ending and he is currently admitted in the mayo clinic after passing out in Canada.

I watch UFC from time to time, but I'm still a boxing man. Always will be.

I was hoping Griffin would pull out the victory. Tito is a loud mouth and I'm glad he said prior to the fight "I'm 100% now", so now he has no excuses.
