 Will do BFNKY. FWIW, I had something similar when I was a kid, cast and all. I had no lasting trauma from it. My mom said I was kinda pitiful looking, but that I learned to move around with it pretty good and it didn't seem to bother me much (I was more perplexed by the fact that I couldn't lift that leg as high as the other...stuff like that). Of course, your daughter's case sounds a little more serious than mine was. I offer the story only as encouragment to the fact that if things go well, I doubt she'll ever have any memories or problems from it. Prayed for her body to be perfectly restored, and for mom and dad to have peace and strength as she recovers. | ||

| All the best to you and yours, BFNKY! It's a different situation, but I hope my little anecdote at least offers you some comfort. When I was born the cord had apparently been wrapped around my leg for some time, and at least one leg was bent funny. I wore leg braces like Forrest Gump for the first year of my life and had to pull myself along since I couldn't use my legs. I tell you this because (a) it worked out great and (b) I have zero recollection of it at all. She's young enough where all she's really going to remember and learn from this is how much she can count on you and mom! | ||
