Sending out well wishes to this awesome player. Anyone else see the play they're showing now? It looks absolutely horrifying. Im not sure but it looks like it may be paralysis.Hopefully everything turns out alright but it was certainly scary to see.
Yeah, when his arms shot out and locked stiff like that, I knew he was knocked out... that's exactly what happens when a boxer lands the perfect punch. They have come back and said he had feeling in all his extremities, but did have a serious concussion.
Prayers go out to him and his loved ones for a speedy recovery... that was a very ugly looking landing.
Didnt see it mentioned yet but I heard on ESPN that he had a concussion last week too. Scary stuff, hopefully everything will be ok.
I was just thinking about that. They may have taken a chance (a risk that obviously didn't pay off for the kid), and played him too soon. Tebow was lucky because Florida had a bye week, and he got 2 weeks to recover. If Best just had a concussion last week, he probably shouldn't have been out there already... we'll hear a lot more about that this week; I guarantee it.
I mentioned it back during the Tebow concussion but that stiffness you see in his arm is the fencing posture that is a tell tale sign of a concussion. Tebow did it in the more common L shape but either way that is what you saw. The good news is as pointed out he has movement in all his extremities. The bad news is back to back concussions may ruin his career in football.
it looked like he fell on his upperback/neck than his head, even though his head did hit second. But look at the freaking elevation he got. no wonder he got hurt.
