Not trying to prod or anything here, but what happened to Snead? He just looks terrible this year.

O-Line.

I don't want to make it seem like I'm making excuses for Snead (Why would I? I hope he throws a hundred picks against AU) but the play calling and O-line seem to have a lot more to do with him playing bad than he does.

Just appears to me Snead is aiming his throws. That is a total loss of confidence. I wish they had enough confidence in a backup for at least one series. Maybe that could shake Snead's cobwebs a little.

What impressed me so much with Snead last season was his footwork in the pocket with pressure coming. He always seemed to side-step the pressure and make a play. Pressure didn't seem to get in his head like it is this season. I noticed in the SC game he seemed to be getting frustrated with the playcalling. Who knows what his issue is, its baffling seeing him go from impressive to where he is now.

I'm one of the few people who will defend Snead on this campus. He's got an amazing arm, but look at what kind of plays he runs. The OL is one of the worst I've seen, which only adds to his failure this season. Snead is an NFL QB trying to run spread/wildcat plays... it works......... sometimes.

Hypothetically speaking, Snead + Tuberville's offense pre-spread = beautiful things.

well this answer if gonna sound self serving but Im just a fan of a team that happens to have a kick ass defense giving my opinion

don't overevaluate your team based on saturday because of that fact.....it was amazing after we made Vtech look horrible on offense how everybody said they were overrated and no good on offense, but since they've destroyed Miami, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Nebraska, one of those top 10 but all four top 20 teams and then look how we made Arky look....but look how theyve been in every other game

Both seem to be having problems, however I think most of snead's problems steem from lack of protection. He is still an NFL quarterback and will make it there, I just don't think he is the board's #1 prospect like he was at the start of the season.

Why not us?? South Carolina, 2010 SEC EAST CHAMPIONS!

hey guys....we can work this thing out.....weve got this real talented guy named tyson lee. hes a stud....so lets take snead off your hands and u can have lee. hows that sound? yeah, snead is stinking it up, but chin up and remember last year. yalls start was bad and then u went gangbusters on the conf. hate to say i was right, but i was right about him being a slow starter. yall will be ok. yall really could be good enough to be top 10, but snead has to be in game 6 shape to do it. if yall were game 6 form, yall could play with anybody in the nation, well that and an o line. its been a while since om had a line that bad, and its not even the whole line. just a guy or two makes the biggest difference.

Upon further review it looks to be Sowell and Neely on the left not picking anything up. Rishaw isn't doing that good either especially in run blocking.
John Jerry isn't playing like his 2nd Rnd projection either
Daverin is solid but we don't know if he is not calling blitzes correctly or anything..

Snead is to blame a bit aswell he is missing easy throws..

Wide Receivers have to run better routes, I am not a fan of Austin's option route scheme it seems Snead and the receivers aren't even on same chapter as far as that goes..

OC/Nutt - Stop trying to get cute early let Snead get a little rhytm, Run that ball behind Baby J.. Play Action.. More jet sweeps to McCluster and PA off that.. Misdirection maybe?

I've questioned play calling since the SC game, I wonder who is exactly calling plays? They need to get it together..

Our offense looks really bad, This is every game not just Bama

Alabama has a NFL caliber D so that didn't help..

I feel sorry for our defense those guys have heart and played lights out to have the O disappoint and put them in bad position numerous times.. Our D is nasty and will win games for us.

I agree bbq I thought Stanley shouldve relieved Snead a series, his arm is identical but just a RS FR.

Don't blame it on Snead. Blame it on the guys wearing the headsets. Arkansas fans have been saying bad things about Nutt since a couple months before he left. He does these things.

And screen passes to McCluster don't work every time (I said the same thing about Dixon running up the middle when Croom was at MSU)... 1 guy can't win you games. The exception to that is Chad Jones at LSU.
