Former Mr. Football of Louisiana and Parade All-American Randall Mackey has re-affirmed his commitment to Ole Miss. The Rebels placed Mackey after a stellar season where he helped teamed with WR Reuben Randle at Bastrop HS. Mackey went on to lead EMCC to a #10 final ranking in the NJCAA while leading the junior college nation in passing with 281 ypg while also rushing for 486 yards. Mackey will assume to take a spot in the wildcat rotation giving a legitimate throwing threat out of the formation while maintaining the running threat that the position gives rise to.

I fully expect Randall Mackey to be rated a 5 star, I just hope we can hold on to him until December. Very impressive arm on that kid.

We need to lock up Nicholas Parker from SP, I know we got a plethra of RBs but this kid can play and would be an ideal RB to LB transition. Coach O made SP his first priority in Recruiting it seems like. Who is gonna lock it up fr us over there Derrick Nix or Markuson? Pretty interesting

Excellent pick up. It will benice to have. I love Dex, but watching him thinking about passing ruined my pants.

It appears we will be short three scholarships for the 2010 class as Orgeron's classes finally graded out APR wise and resulted in a deficient number.

Clarence Jackson out of College Park, GA (Atlanta area) just committed to Ole Miss. Big kid that will probably get a shot at running back before moving to linebacker ala Tim Simon.

Ole Miss let one of their private commitments go public with the announcement of a commitment from Brishen Mathews. The 3-star safety has a reputation among the Arkansas high schools as one of the hardest hitting players in the state and recently ran an electronic timed 4.5 40 while pulling his hamstring halfway through the run at the Ole Miss Senior Camp. He picked the Rebels over the homestate Razorbacks and Georgia Tech.

ark fans joke about everything Ole Miss but don't let them worry ya about those pants. I joked about them too. Those things are famous now and could be sold on ebay. If he washes them he won't have to sell them in the adult section of ebay. Reb chuck is all Ole Miss home boy and nobody could have made those pants as famous as he did!
