Florida 2009: Gators vs Criminoles
The thugs of f$u will be in town today for their annual a-whipping...

Actually, this game could be a blow-out...or, it could be close...as with most rivalries, the records have to be thrown out when comparing the two...as Meyer said, the Gators recruited nearly every player on their team. Despite the down seasons the noles have suffered the past several years, they continue to pull in top talent from the state of Florida. Greg Reid was a Gator commit as was Bert Reed. The noles have nothing to lose and will throw everything they've got at the Gators. Heck...with the noles on the verge of a 6-6 season, we're still fighting them over recruits.

What's most important about this game...it will be Senior Day. Great Gator seniors: David Nelson, Riley Cooper, Jermaine Cunningham, Ryan Stamper, Dustin Doe, Brandon James, one of the greatest LBs to ever play at Florida: Brandon Spikes and one of the Greatest Gators of all time: Tim Tebow, will all be playing their last games in The Swamp.

Also, the Gators are hosting about 3 dozen of the countries best HS players...this is usually a big "haul" day for Gator Recruiting.

It will be a very emotional day for this bunch. Not only have they won 2 SEC Championships and 2 National Championships...but this Senior Class has won more games than any other Senior Class in SEC Football History. That's one amazing stat alone.

Surprisingly, the Gators only have 18 seniors on the roster...however, this could be the last game in The Swamp for several Juniors as well. Carlos Dunlap and Joe Haden have both been mentioned as high 1st round picks, the Pouncey twins, Aaron Hernandez is one the best TE's in the Nation, and a host of others. Hopefully, aside from Haden and Dunlap (I believe they're gone)...the rest will stay.

On such an emotional day for the Gators, lets hope the noles are on their best behavior (if they're capable). 4 years ago, on Chris Leak's senior day, the Criminole coaches were asked to keep their players in prior to the game for a few extra minutes while Senior Day activities were in progress. The f$u coaches agreed only to let the entire team out just as the festivities got underway. Criminole players Fred Rouse and Ernie Sims immediately ran over to the Gator players as they stood with their families and started yelling profanities, Rouse asking one of your senior OL if he had ever "f*cked his mother". Cooler heads prevailed and a massive brawl was avoided. Some folks wonder why we hate the noles so much...

Lets blow these b@stards out...get Brantley in and rest up for Bama...

GO GATORS!!!!

This will be a great game... for Gators fans. I can imagine something like 45-10, unless we let the clock run too much.

Everyone involved in the broadcast is way too excited about that sideline reporter wearing eye black.
