2009 Tennesse vs. Ole Miss thread

Let's get this going. Going to be a great game I think.

This should be a really good football game. Tennessee is gaining momentum and has become a little more steady, but Ole Miss has some great talent and play makers who, if they get hot, could wreak havoc on just about any team.

Both Kiffin and Nutt are good in-game coaches, so that makes it even better.

Hard to predict this one.

Gonna be a good one. I think Snead will have a break out game in this one. Ole Miss scores late.

I just hope the players don't get too excited and do silly stuff because of the Coach O deal since I know most of them can't stand the man.

Really? Who has issues with him. I'm curious to know.

I doubt that will happen though. Should be all business on both sides. O has had nothing but good things to say about Ole Miss publicly.

A fair amount. There were quite a few kids that quit the team because of him as well.

“The first one against Tennessee is kind of personal,” Hodge, also a former Orgeron recruit, said. “Coach O never did anything to me, but the way I saw him treat some people, I know some guys are going to come out with a real fire in their belly and get after them pretty bad.”

Yeah i know some players didn't like him too much. But just some. Like sab said this game should be all business, even if some Ole Miss players are using Coach O as motivation. I doubt either team will win by more than 10-13. Should be close the whole game.

This one is too hard to call. My gut tells me OM will lose this one and then beat LSU. However, I think OM has the defense to get by UT. I don't know. I guess I'll go with my gut feeling. UT by a FG. OM comes back the following week and eeks out a win over LSU.

This one is tough to call. The teams match up really well with each other. Both have outstanding defenses, and good but inconsistent QBs. I'll say that emotion and home field tip the scales to the Rebs. Ole Miss by 4.

Farmer Fran probably ticked off a few players who just misunderstood what he said. "What coach? No I don't like to see little boys naked!"

Edit: damnit I mixed up my Blake Clark reference. That would be Old Cajun Man, Joe Dirt and "homos naked". Double damnit!
