Lightbulb Peyton Manning TIES Johnny Unitas for most Colt wins
In his eleven years in the NFL, Peyton Manning has led his team to victory 117 times. In 8 of those seasons, the Colts have captured at least 12 wins. While most folks will agree that Peyton is the most prolific passer in the NFL and has dominated the sport like few others, I can't help but reminisce about the man that set that record almost forty years ago.

Johnny Unitas was the face of the NFL for most of my childhood. Throughout my life, whenever anyone mentioned the complete QB like Namath, Bradshaw, Marino, Elway or Montana the ultimate comparison was always how does he measure up to Johnny Unitas. Unitas was the yardstick that any NFL passer was measured to. And don't be surprised when you look up the definition of winner that you'll find a picture of crewcut kid with a cockeyed grin.

Am I the only one that remembers Johnny Unitas?
