Alonzo Mourning is retiring. I always enjoyed watching him play, especially with Larry Johnson when he was with the Hornets. Awesome defensive player. The NBA needs more defensive minded players, and less showboat look-at-me ball hogs. Hell, he came back to play after a kidney transplant, and won a championship with the Heat. The other night on ESPN Classic they showed a game back around '90 or '91 against Georgetown and Duke. Zo was slingin' shots and crashin' the board like a wild man. He will be missed.
