GO PHILLIES!!!

Still waiting on those weak ass AL teams to finish their date. Anyone watch that game, though? Some terrible calls going the Yankees way... TERRIBLE. MLB needs to have instant replay since the ump can't distinguish a strike from a damn ball.

GO PHILLIES!!!! REPEAT REPEAT

Go Go Phils! The Phils can definitely hit the ball, but do they have enough pitching to win? Can Howard, Utley, and Ibanez do anything against Sabathia. They may have to face him three times. The Yankees middle relief has proved to be a weakness, but same goes for the Phils. I think Yankees win in 6 although I am pulling hard for the upset.

Never liked the Phillies growin up and of course, who likes the Yankees other than NY fans? Really don't care who wins. This has been one of the most boring MLB postseasons I can ever remember. Baseball really needs to step it up.....shorten spring training and move it to April so the season starts in May, and end the season in August so the playoffs go from September-early October. The whole country is pretty much focused on football at this point.

Get the NBA playoffs to start right after March Madness.....have that combine w/the start of MLB season.....MLB postseason combine w/beginning of football....football bowl games and what not happen as NCAA basketball conference play begins in January. Seems perfect to me. And hockey is there for the people who care about that beyond the playoffs.

I can't wait. I think our hitting matches up very well with the yankees..... the key will be pitching, which I have to give the slight edge to NY

but their relievers suck, so we'll be getting the majority of our runs from the fifth inning on..... plus, Girardi clearly doesn't know when to pull the starter and when to leave him in

GO PHILLIES!!! F THE YANKEES!!!

Is NY using the same pitching rotation as in the ALCS?

I don't think any staff can control the Phillies' offense over seven games and I sure hope NY doesn't. Holycrap! Did I just agree with Kriegs?!

If anything can be predicted by 1 game then Razorhead should change his name to Nostradamus. Incredible performance by Lee tonight. His command reminded me of Buerhle during his perfect game. Only difference was Lee was going against the Yankees who managed a few hits here and there. He was magnificent. Utley was not too shabby either.

Lee's no-look catch was pretty hilarious too. He was definitely a stud tonight. My analysis for this series was pretty much the same as for the ALCS. If Lackey could just beat CC in game 1, the Yanks will be in trouble. Well he pitched well but couldn't get that W. Cliff Lee was up to the task, and the Phils are in very good shape.

Tomorrow's going to be another gem to watch....Burnett v. Pedro. How much will we hear the "who's your daddy?" chant I wonder? I think both these guys are gonna be a little over excited for different reasons and miss their spots leading to some big innings. Burnett has better stuff, but Pedro is the smarter pitcher. I like Pedro to minimize the damage a little more and lead the Phils to another win in an 8-6 style ball game.

How suicidal were Indians fans tonight though? At least when CC was traded the got LaPorta and they knew they'd be losing CC to free agency. They really didn't have to trade Lee this year, and they didn't get any prospects who would excite me at all.
