Default Bravos take the series from the Phillies after 4-0 shutout.
If there's one thing the Phillies will be able to take away from this series, it won't be their World Series rings which they will receive tomorrow night... it will be the realization that the honeymoon is over, and the Braves are back.

Sunday night saw Derek Lowe hold the Phils to 2 hits and no runs over 8 innings in a 4-1 win for the Braves, and tonight Jair Jurrjens worked 6 2/3 innings, allowing no runs and just 4 hits, then the bullpen took it to the finish, allowing only 2 hits and no runs the rest of the way.

Kelly Johnson started the Braves offense with a home run off of Jamie Moyer on the very first pitch of the game. Chipper Jones would also hit a solo shot.

The Braves have held the best hitting team in the NL last year to just a single run in the first two games, while beating the Phillies at their own game: hitting the long ball. Bravos have hit 5 home runs in the first 2 games.

ATL is back, baby. Bust out the brooms tomorrow for the sweep!

Timely hitting and good starting pitching is what we've been missing the last few years. Hopefully it keeps up.

Of course you knew ESPN would put their own spin on it. Baseball tonight's storyline for the game tonight: "What's wrong with the Phillies?"

Of course it HAS to be something wrong with the Phillies, it couldn't be that the Braves are playing well....

John Kruk is a dickhead. After "analyzing" what is wrong with the Phillies, he briefly gave credit to Lowe and Jurrjens, then went on to say that the Phillies would have to get hot soon or they would dig themselves a hole behind "the Mets and the Marlins." I guess he figures the Braves a 4th place team at best.
