Mississippi State Sports
Beware of the Dog. Bulldogs inside.
James Hurst, one of the top OT in the country released his Top 6 today:
Florida
Georgia Mississippi State
North Carolina
Notre Dame
Tennessee
He is the top rated recruit in Indiana and 20th recruit overall by Scout and 8th by Rivals. His brother plays for State currently. Would be a huge get.
I'm feeling something coming on in our football program.
would be a HUGE HUGE get but we will see what happens...
If Anthony Dixon can go low in the 1st or high in the 2nd or 3rd round of the draft, Tyer Russell pans out to be a good quarterback, McNair comes to State, this kid chooses State..........

Him. I just hope he doesn't choose his father's alma mater. That would be such a waste.
Well from everything I'm getting we need ATH not just WR. In this Off you can have a scat back like Harvin and make him into a WR/ type player.
Mullen said today that he looked over to see which WR he could put in and he only had like 3 on scholly and a few walkons. I think we take the best players out there we can and worry about where they play later.

This either works perfectly like Percy Harvin or it fails miserably like Devery Henderson. On rare cases you can catch a guy like Harvin who is a tremendous athlete and you're able to teach him how to catch a ball, but most of the time you get a guy like Henderson who just flat out runs fast but sucks at everything.
Not disagreeing with you, but I would hate to get a bunch of guys who run 4.2's and drop every pass.
The safest thing to do is recruit like 20 safeties. They can play MULTIPLE positions. That's what South Carolina did this year. I don't know if yall remember but on the national signing day special on ESPN, USC had something like 8 of the top 10 safeties in the country sign with them.

A Da'Rick Rogers and Nash Nance sighting. They were at the scrimmage this morning. They were also with Mullen and company at the baseball game touring the Left Field Lounge. They were all smiles while I seen them!
Come to think about it I have never seen nor have I ever heard of Crxxm and comapny doing this. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am of this staff here now!
Da'Rick Rogers has renamed his top 3 schols. Florida, Georgia and Mississippi State!. Rogers also said when he was in town that Mullen was with them the entire time.
Nash Nance had a good showing at the Atlanta camp and so did Rogers. Here is a quote from Nance.
"I like Mississippi State," he said. "Coach Mullen is recruiting us [Da' Rick Rogers] and going to be hard to turn him down.
"It just felt like the right place for me. Coach Mullen is bringing an exciting offense to Mississippi State and I want to be part of that. With our class coming in and with the guys already there, it is going to be ridiculous." - Montrell Conner
