Default Tigers Join Colossal Battle For Minnesota Giant
How seriously LSU factors into the recruiting of St. Paul, MN Cretin-Derham star offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson (6-7/295) is a question at this point. But Henderson, an ESPN Top 150 Watch List member, has 50 offers on the table at present, including one from the Tigers, and he now considers LSU to be in the top 20 percent of the group.

"Right now it is not official, but I like Minnesota, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Iowa, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and LSU," Henderson told OUInsider.com, an ESPN affiliate site covering Oklahoma. "There are some other schools, but that would be my top choices right now."

Henderson also gave out an interesting set of criteria for his decision. "I want to know the teams' depth chart and who they have coming in," he said. "I want to know if they are going to have a nice quarterback and who else they have on the offensive line. Then just being comfortable around the team and on campus, and finding a school where I can be at for the next four years, or maybe even five. I can play in any offense, and distance from home doesn't really matter."

Again, it's too early to look at Henderson as anything other than a long shot for LSU. But just to engage in a bit of speculation, he's the type of tall, lean, athletic tackle Les Miles looks for. And the idea of bookend tackles of Henderson and DeSoto, TX star Evan Washington (6-6/286) in this class would certainly be an intriguing one.

I lost a bet so here's my new sig for awhile.
