Default Rueben Randle's Visit
Rueben Randle seemed to have a great time, and he enjoyed getting lots of attention from the LSU fans at the basketball game. The word is that Randle gave every indication that LSU is in the lead for him and he's very comfortable with everything about the program. He didn't commit, at least not publicly, and he's still going to take a trip to either Auburn or Tennessee this weekend before announcing his choice on Feb. 4 on ESPNU. But as of right now it seems like LSU can be somewhat confident about landing the superstar wide receiver from Bastrop.

Default Janzen Jackson Visit Bama Next Weekend
Janzen Jackson told a couple of recruiting services that his visit to Alabama next weekend is more of a courtesy than anything else and that he is very solid in his commitment to LSU. Jackson is using "we" to describe the Tigers in interviews now, and he explained the reports of his wavering on his Tiger commitment in terms of not having a relationship with John Chavis and Ron Cooper like he had with Bradley Dale Peveto and Doug Mallory. With Chavis and Cooper spending a lot of time getting to know Jackson and his father of late, that problem has been sewn up and he's all LSU.
