The Charleston Daily Mail reports a deal in principle is done for a home-and-home with West Virginia in 2010 and 2011. LSU gets the first game in Tiger Stadium, while the 2011 contest will be up in
That series is a nice pickup for LSU schedule-maker Verge Ausberry, who apparently was able to swoop in and get a deal with WVU when Michigan State scotched a 2010-11 series that was already on the books. I'm not sure Bill Stewart won't be through burning the Mountaineer program down by the time LSU gets to them - they're 4-2 this year, but wins over Villanova, Marshall, Rutgers and Syracuse don't exactly make an impressive resume - but WVU is still regarded as a quality opponent from a BCS conference.
