The LSU Lady Tigers defeated a very good Minnesota team 66-45 after trailing 23-19 at half time. Sylvia Fowles, who had to sit out 13 minutes of the first half because of getting into early foul trouble, led the second half come back by the Lady Tigers with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Seimone Augustus also scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. The Lady Tigers trailed 35-34 with 13 minutes to play in the game, but went on a 13-0 run to take a 47-35 lead and was never threatened again in the game. A paid crowd of 9,940 watched the Lady Tigers improve their season record to 13-0. LSU signee Allison Hightower from Arlington, Texas, attended the game.
