Coca-Cola bottles commemorating LSU's BCS champion football team hit store shelves across Louisiana and Mississippi this week. The 8-ounce bottles feature a purple and gold eye of the tiger and come in a specially designed 6-pack carrier that has a photo of LSU Coach Les Miles holding the crystal BCS Championship Trophy. Baton Rouge Coca-Cola has produced 480,000 commemorative bottles, enough to last about eight weeks, says company spokeswoman Melanie Clark. A similar number of commemorative Coke cans were distributed in February. Clark says the bottles came out later because the glass comes from Mexico and the packaging was "more involved."

I like how they got the "Eye of the Tiger" in there! Sure makes my office bookshelves look a lot better! The Arky folks I work with don't care for it too much though!!! lol
I have an uncle that is still holding on to his 26 year old Bear Bryant 315 commemorative coke bottles because he swears "They're gonna be worth a lot of money one of these here days".
*This is not a flame. It is the actual truth and that is an actual quote from him. He also has some "Billy Beer" still in the can as well.

That brings back a lot of old memories. Heck, ole Billy's beer ended up being more popular than his brother Jimmy, the worst president these states has ever seen. That Billy was a character!

"it's the best beer I've ever tasted .and I've tasted alot" hahaha i like that quote. Around Baton Rouge they have the Bud light long necks and cans with LSU colors on them. I think their doing it year round now, instead of just during football season.
I need to go pick up a national championship coke bottle.
