BATON ROUGE -- The Super Tiger Bowl, which will feature former LSU standouts and Super Bowl Champions in
Joseph Addai, Anthony McFarland, Kevin Faulk and Jarvis Green, will highlight Super Tiger Weekend on the LSU campus on March 23-25.
The Super Tiger Bowl will feature a revamped format with the LSU football team being split into two squads to battle for spring practice bragging rights with an actual spring game. Kickoff for the Super Tiger Bowl is scheduled for noon on Saturday, March 24 in Tiger Stadium.
Addai and McFarland, members of the Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl Championship team this year, will serve as guest coaches for one team, while Faulk and Green, both 3-time Super Bowl Championships, will serve on the coaching staff for the other team.
Tickets for the Super Tiger Bowl are free as fans can pick up coupons to redeem for their free tickets at the following locations: Tiger Mania, participating Associated Grocers and in the Advocate. Fans can also
print the redeemable coupons on LSUsports.net.
The coupons must be redeemed at the LSU Ticket Office prior to gameday. Those tickets will also be good for free admission to LSU softball and the LSU relays that weekend.
Super Tiger Bowl tickets are $5 without a coupon. Those fans who do not redeem their coupons prior to gameday will also be charged $5.
Prior to the noon kickoff for the Super Tiger Bowl on Saturday, March 24, LSU will host a pregame tailgate party beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Tiger 1 Village.
The Super Tiger Bowl is one of many highlights on the LSU campus that weekend of March 23-25 as a total of 10 Tiger athletic events will be held over the three-day span.
