Calipari fires first practice shot | courier-journal.com | The Courier-Journal

...Word is percolating that coach John Calipari intends to bring his first University of Kentucky team into the Cardinals' gymnasium for a two-hour practice at 6 p.m. Sunday. UofL might be able to block UK from playing Indiana here in December, but all signs point to a jumbo turnout to watch Patrick Patterson, John Wall and the rest of Calipari's five-star operation Sunday evening.
“Coming in here to practice?” asked Samuels, the Cardinals' mammoth center.
That's the story. Folks from the Kentucky State Fair Board say UK signed a contract to use the facility from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
“They're coming here to practice?” asked UofL senior guard Jerry Smith. “They're not even playing (us) here this year. It's crazy. I don't understand the point. It's crazy.”...

Really?! These kids aren't bright enough to figure out why we might practice on their homecourt when we aren't playing them there this year? Come on. Even for young, college kids that is thick-headed.
