The opponents you have played thus far have scored 3, 2 & 14 points so far correct?

The two points were not given up by the D, which means that UK's D has given 17 points over the first 3 games.
That is amazing. I am a believer of UK's defense this year

Our defense is the real deal, regardless of opponents. My concern is now that Cobb is out and we'll be using Hartline all the time, how consistently can we drive down the field on offense? I believe we're going to see improvement in that area starting w/WKU this weekend, because Brooks is narrowing the WR rotation. Dicky and EJ are tops on the depth chart right now, which I think is a smart decision.

Did you read my post completely? I was praising the fact that UK's D has given up only 17 points in a 3 game stretch.
Thats impressive. I never said anything about who the opponents were.

You're more of a believer than I am at this point. Louisville has since improved on offense, and I think if we played them now we wouldn't hold them to 2 points. I won't be a total believer of this defense until we hold one or two SEC teams to 14 points or less.

I want to believe....I really do...we'll see if we can hold Bama to less than 20. I'd be very happy with that. But before that, I'd like to see the D hold WKU to zero TDs and maybe 1 or 2 FGs at most.

Let's wait and see where we rank after Bama..........I don't gauge our 'D' vs. the opponents we've played up to now. If we're still ranking in those spots after a couple of SEC games, then I'll be impressed.

I agree . That's exactly what I said, see above.... "I won't be a total believer of this defense until we hold one or two SEC teams to 14 points or less."

That said, still nice to be three games into the season and rank #2 in scoring defense. It's just such weird air to be breathing

There's a couple of SEC teams on our schedule we should definitely be able to limit to 14 or less, I just don't think they're named Bama.
