Kentucky Wall goes for 27 as No. 4 Kentucky Rolls Past Clarion
John Wall scored 27 points in his collegiate debut and No. 4 Kentucky rolled past Clarion 117-52 on Friday night in an exhibition game. Wall was forced to sit out Kentucky's exhibition opener on Monday as part of an NCAA suspension for accepting improper benefits from his former AAU coach. He didn't waste any time getting comfortable against the Golden Eagles, an NCAA Division II school in western Pennsylvania. Wall nearly outscored Clarion in the first half and showcased a little bit of everything, from a dunk to a 3-pointer to a nifty behind-the-back dribble for a layup.

Wall and Cousins flat out dominated tonight. However, this was only a D2 team to put things in perspective. I'd love to see what they can do against the competition they will soon face. Regardless it was a great win and everybody contributed.
Kentucky Wildcats 4-3 (1-3)
Next game: vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs 3-5 (1-3)

6 players in double figures. I liked.

Still, alot of sloppy play, lazy defense, and obvious mis-execution of Cal's system. They got some work to do.

did you go to the game Puddin?

if so, i was wondering if Cousins looked sharp or did he just score in a blue collar way?

I've been trying to tell ya'll.....

When we can play that sloppy and still win big....it shows that the sky's the limit. We're obviously nowhere near playing our best basketball and it's already clear that we're a legit Top 5 team.

Of course, we'll know more about what we can expect from the Cats in the coming weeks. End of November/Early December we play Stanford or Virginia (tourney), UNC Asheville, UConn, UNC, and Indiana all in a row. That should show what we're made of real quick.

The talent level and athleticism on this squad is freakin insane.
