If you think he's going to fail at Kentucky, or be slightly better than average, or at best not live up to his hype, simply put, you are wrong. It's not even a matter of opinion. He's that freaking good. | PT, I realize you're as die hard as they come when it comes to basketball, but I think maybe you took my post the wrong way or misread it entirely.
I said not once, but TWICE that Wall is deserving of the hype and that by season's end he should be All-SEC no doubt...I just think it's kind of obscure to put a guy on the All-conference preseason teams when he hasn't even played an SEC game yet. If that were the case then why didn't we name Trent Richardson, Bryce Brown, etc...to the Pre-season All-conference teams in football? Maybe a bad example but hopefully you get what I'm sayin...
Unless the basis of the All-conference teams is how they think the best performers will line up at the END of the season, then I understand why they'd pick Wall. But I guess that's what is not clear about it.
Wall's gonna be amazing. Never once did I say I thought he would "fail" or be "slightly better than average". The hype is legit, I just fail to see the reasoning behind their selections. There's nothing for me to retract. I'm sure provided the kid stays healthy he'll be wreaking havoc all season long. MIRACLES HAPPEN! |
