But this is a Georgia basketball thread. I'm rootin for you guys. My post wasn't a smart ass one. But it can be real quick.
lmao, you have to be kidding me right? have you ever heard of a few programs like notre dame football, or alabama football, or michigan football? basketball is just something to fill in the offseason of football and besides that noone cares about it. the only reason UK fans act like its such a big sports is because its the only thing they are even half way decent at.

Here's my preseason predictions thread:

PT's SEC Basketball Rankings

This year, my predictions actually matched what the media predicted. I always make mine before they make theirs. Looks like we agree for once.

I'll tell ya'll what....right now I'm not sure what the hell to expect from Carolina, Ole Miss, and Vandy. I think all 3 could end up being DAMN good teams. They are all certainly NCAA tournament candidates fo' sho'.

Since it's the Dawgs thread though, let's not hijack it.

Thompkins seems like he's ya'lls best player and he's only a sophomore. Why the hell was he comin off the bench instead of starting today?

Ahhh....there's a Kentucky basketball hater in every SEC fan base. If it doesn't matter, then why have you bothered ranting about Kentucky basketball for your last two posts. I'm sorry that we completely own Georgia in every way shape and form, and that the only reason you don't care as much about it is because you're our whipping boy, don't take that on our program. We run this show from November to March. Understand that.

DJ and TRB, sorry for hijacking the thread w/this arguing. Ya'll know me though...can't back down from a basketball argument. Good luck to the Dawgs. Coach Fox is gonna have to hit that recruiting hard. This year's gonna be a long one for you guys....look to the future.

Wrong. There are plenty of people that follow basketball closely, including myself. Are you the supreme authority on what sports are significant and who watches what? You don't have a clue. Kentuckys basketball program is the equivelant to Bama's football program, which you just listed. Don't be hatin' on someone 'cuz they love a sports program that's rich in tradition. BTW, Kentucky is the greatest basketball program in the NCAA. Brush up on your history slim.

The 2nd best day of the year behind the Super Bowl is NCAA Selection Sunday. Everyone knows that.

For whatever it's worth, Wofford almost beat Pitt on the road. They lost by like... 3 points to them. If I'm not mistaken Pitt is a Top 25 team. If only we'd of made more of our free throws.
