Ryan Mallet really worries me with his arm, and Cox doesn't seem to deal with aggressive defenses very well. (Not that I know Arkansas plays aggressive D)

Just seems perfect for the Hogs, we gotta go to Arkansas after they've had a bye-week and our defense is seemingly as awful as ever, especially against the Pass. Not to mention, our offense is really inconsistent with Cox at the helm.

Should be interesting though. It will say a lot about Arkansas and Mallet.

I have not seen enough of Arkansas to really make a good pick. If UGA can manage a little defense I would pick the Dawgs easily.

I think the series is 1-8 GA though, so I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

i'm gonna pick Georgia 34-24 based solely on my irrational and probably mistaken belief that Arkansas will start slow in the SEC and then catch fire later in the season.

I still don't think Arkansas defense is that much better overall, however the run defense seems to be vastly improved. UGA beat SC by running over them which suprised me. I'm giving the Hogs an edge because of the bye week and it being a home game. And I'm a homer.

I agree with this. I havn't seen enough of Arky to make any decisions against them. UGA seemed to get it done with other facets of the team such as special teams and defensive play to make up for Cox's offensive mistakes but we could see another QB take the helm sooner than we expect. I don't know if Cox is sick or if he just doesn't have it decision wise to lead the team, but even with a better performance last night he still is only playing not to lose instead of running the offense to win. The defense will also continue to improve as they get more acclimated to playing a full game where they are on the feild 80% of the time.
