I agree with you on JJ, because he will help UGA put a lot of points on the board when we play LSU. But thats only one game so I wouldn't call him the biggest breakout player for UGA. As for Randle, maybe if he fumbles a lot.

But then again, LSU's QB last year did wonders for UGA. Thanks for the 14 guy

All everyone talks about is what we LOST on offense... but if you look at the weapons we have this year on offense, there's a lot to be excited about .

Not only do we have a very good young stable of RB's in King, Thomas, Samuel, Jackson and Ealey, but we have two very good FB's in Chapas and Munzenmaier. TE could potentially be a position of strength, dependent on how quickly Orson Charles and Arthur Lynch make themselves a factor (don't forget about Aron White), and of course there's AJ Green.

We might not be an offense that makes the big play a lot (like last year), but we could be an offense that is very good at making 1st downs, eating the clock and slowly but surely moving the ball down the field.

thats what people might not understand.....WE RELOAD

on a side note, I wonder if they will redshirt Ealey with some many other RBs
AND with our offense, if we can get our TEs to deliver it could be trouble for defenses

What I'm looking forward to is seeing the offense utilizing the FBs a lot more, much like late last year. It's going to be a nightmare trying to work on a defensive plan against a Bulldog offense that uses its FBs and TEs for more than just blocking.

On offense, its going to be Aaron White.
I knew I was forgetting a TE. If Charles and Lynch pan out, we could be loaded with stud TE's:

Figgins
White
Charles
Lynch

Yeah...and Derek Rich (a guy with whom I went to high school)

I left them out for a reason...I don't think they'll see the field, but I'd be thrilled if they busted their humps and proved me wrong.

Our offense this year looks very much like the offense in Staffords sophomore year. No really big player but a stable of very talented athletes.

Last year our team relied on Stafford and Moreno, they felt they had two of the best players in the country and thought they could overcome any deficit by themselves. This year they are more team orientated knowing that not one player can bring them a championship in the SEC, if we only had this mentality last year.

I reckon one of Samuels and Caleb King could turn some heads. Everyone seems to think that we were all Moreno in terms of RBs - but we do seem to have a pretty talented bunch of youngsters. They might not be quite as dynamic as Moreno, but it certainly looks like we have a decent rotation to switch around. I'm excited to see how they go.

A player like Moreno comes along once in ten years IMO. The kid played with an energy that I havent seen before. Its unfair to compare these players to Moreno and to say that UGA cant win without Moreno. CMR's most successful teams have always had a committee at RB, even at FSU. This keeps players fresh, and allows us to use all the skills of each particular player.

it's not that i doubt your talent, it's the prospect of breaking in new talent against THAT schedule. that's a trial by fire if there ever was one. i sure hope you can get it together...it'd suck to see the Gators steamroll the rest of the East again this year and i don't think our bunch will offer much opposition yet.
