You should see his Brother play (he actually has 2 of them). Armondze Daniels (Junior) is a 6' 3" cornerback (he has several pass breakups like 10 or more for the season and several interceptions--I would guess 4-5) and Elijah Daniels is a 6' 4" 240 lbs DE (freshman)

Elijah starts as a Freshman and tears up everybody. Last week he tore up Pike (the school of WR Dyjuan Lewis). Schools already funnel all plays away from him. He holds to point of attack on runs and blows up pass plays.

Their family situation is truly sad. I want all 3 to succeed very badly.

Looks like Georgia will probably wind up with all 3 if they want them. I think they have a pledge to stay together

Was really glad to see him have a great game, he has been homesick really badly lately from what I've read.

He is where he needs to be.

The Michael Oher story is nothing compared to what these brothers have been through. It is truly sad and yet inspiring that they have done as much as they have.

The whole family is just ripped apart and "Blowed up"

Hopefully, the other 2 brothers can get out of here and start their lives on a positive note.

Their story is both awe inspiring and tragic.

Can anyone else think of another instance where a defensive player was given a weekly honor by the SEC for the performance in a game in which he got his first career tackle?

Hell of a start for the young man's career...

By the way, I'm not really up to speed on his background...anybody know where to read up? A google search didn't bring up much...

Montez is from Avon (Orioles) Indiana (Indianapolis).

He and his brothers have lived with "family members" for a few years. I believe that she is an "Aunt". There are about 8-10 kids that all live together with her.

They come from a very tragic situation ie Drugs, prison, aids (IIRC), murder etc.

just think the most horrible things in life and it fits this family

It is truly sad
