Great game for the Gators...defense, offense, special teams...all looked good. Tebow, Spikes, Sturgis, Cooper, Hernandez, Jones...all played well. Still don't know why Moody isn't running the ball more, though. But, only 2 dive plays all night...so, maybe Addazio is listening to the fans a little...
On another note...did anybody get the feeling we were playing f$u yesterday? Talk about a bunch of dirty, cheap-shot thugs...I guess this is what Richt and UGA have digressed to. Stupid celebrations don't work...gay uniform changes don't work...heck, just start fights all over the field...maybe some of their key players will get ejected. This is criminole tactics...which, shouldn't be a total shock considering where Richt got his start. BTW, did anyone see the UGA players "celebrating" on the sideline after scoring their first TD? That's sooo funny...embarrassing, but funny.
Remember the punt...James comes up and blocks an UGA player...to allow the ball to go into the endzone and prevent him from downing it...normal play that any PR would do...and the UGA player gets in his face...then, another UGA player hits James in the back...not to mention, Spikes got his eye's gouged, hair pulled, helmet ripped off twice...took countless blind sided hits after the plays were over from OL...heck, Ealey is lucky Spikes didn't have his "9"... Tebow got hit late on several occasions...kinda shocked that one that Gary and Verne kept showing didn't get called...the defender stopped when Tebow threw the ball...then took off and clocked him.
All this whining about Spikes little opthamology exam is just a ploy to take the attention off what was likely one of the dirtiest games ever played by a UGA team. The players knew they were about to get their asses handed to them...so, they wanted a fight. But...enough of that...they're sore losers...as some of their fans on the board are...they'll try and trash our players...coaches...in an attempt to relieve some of their pain. The truth is...we own them like luggage. That "overall series" come-back can only go so far...the poodles have lost 85% of the time they've ventured to Jacksonville over the last 2 decades...and things aren't looking any brighter for the future in Athens. Their coaches are in disarray...and Richt has proven that he's good for about 8-9 victories a year...but that's it. Glad our standards are higher in Gainesville.
Congrats to the Gators and Gator fans on this board....17 of 20...that's ownage my friends. And Tebow breaking HW's record with a 20+ yd scamper is icing on the cake.

Yeah man UGA played dirty as hell and the Gators came out with a perfectly clean victory. Congrats on the win and good luck against Bama....I'm sure they won't need it though.

Wow glad your being so humble about the win. lol
Seriously. That was an embarrassment. When I saw the black helmets I started cussing. We needed game preparation not antics to get ready for this game, black helmets in 90 degree FL weather is just stupid. There was more missed tackles and penalties in that game than I have ever seen by our defense. Our corners seem to be convinced that if you can't beat them then give them a 10 yard cushion and commit a penalty to keep them from catching the ball. It was a joke to say the least.
The offense wasn't awful but we have a ways to go and Cox won't be part of it. We need alot of changes starting with the coordinators and finishing with some big time smack downs concerning discipline. I thought they would come out and leave their hearts on the field and play for pride but I was wrong.
As for UF I think Spikes needs to be disciplined for the eye gouge. It was crooked and he was caught red handed on TV period. But as a team they played a good game and even though both teams jawed and fought alot, Meyer ended the game on a high note by running out the clock and ending it. Hopefully next year we will see a better game.

Well, I'm already extremely tired of the jawing both in the game and on this board, but I guess this is the lousiest excuse for a game discussion I can find right now...so I'll pose my question here:
Obviously, UGA shot themselves in the foot in the 1st half with penalties and in the 2nd half with turnovers. However, there were a few times that we seemed to be moving the ball. We haven't run the ball all season, but we were able to establish something that resembled a ground game. Is there any concern for the Gators D? In the future against a more disciplined opponent, it could be a close game if the Gators D allows the offense to move the ball.

I've been a member of this board for 5+ years...until last season, I never ribbed rivals about losing to UF. But thanks to some UGA fans that like to flame and troll every time we discuss UF, I've made an exception.

Concern?? I'm sure the defense got a little lose after the 1st quarter with a 14 point lead...heck, I don't think UGA crossed the 50 until the second quarter. The defense has stopped everybody that's stood in front of them...including the #1 offense "ever" in OU this past January...concerned???...not really.
