"Bubba" Caldwell sprang his MCL...will get a MRI to be safe...it occurred when he fumbled to open the second half. He ran off the field and Coach Meyer said he would be ready for UT. Poor fella...had a bad game...dropped a perfectly thrown TD pass by Tebow...then fumbled a ball that Troy returned to the 4 yd line. Hopefully, the SR can bounce back vs the Vols.
Brandon James has an ankle sprain...will know more this week if he is ready to go vs UT. I hope so...he had a TD called back and nearly returned another last year vs the Vols.
Nothing major... that's good. Caldwell can go, and will be looking to turn around his performance this week... he might have a big game trying to make up for his mistakes. James is our best returner, but hardly the only competent one. We're in good shape.

I know you said y'all will know more this week, but is it a high ankle sprain or what?
Hopefully, Bubba can go this week. Cohen said the medical staff cleared him for this week. I guess we'll see....
THAT'S GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the guys over at GC said it was more serious than previously thought...could be a tear instead of a sprain. Man, I hope Cohen is right...he usually is.

It's thought to be a MCL sprain...which is no where near as serious as an ACL. I had heard that it may be torn...which would mean Bubba would be out 4-6 weeks...if it's just a sprain...he will be back Saturday.

Sorry for not being clear, but I was referring to Brandon James. You said he injured his ankle. I was hoping for his sake that it's not a high ankle sprain.

No...he just turned it a little...he'll play Saturday from what I've read.
Ainge's pinky is still broke. Antonio Gaines will be out for awhile he went down with a leg injury against Southern Miss. Brinton Colquitt has a pulled quad but set out for Southern Miss and he'll be ready for FL. Brad Cottams out. The only big injury is Gaines.

Yeah, from what I'm hearing Berry is going to move back to corner and Parrish, who really struggled tackling against Cal is going to take back over the safety spot.

Yeah I think if he struggles they will put Nevin Mckenzie there I think he would do better that Parrish.

Not real sure about that, from what I've heard the reason McKenzie isn't already in there is because he isn't picking things up as quickly as everyone thought he would. Coaches haven't been impressed with him so far.
