Default Ohio State victorious!!!
My after game thoughts.

The Buckeyes came out after halftime firing on all cylinders which ended up a 33-14 final score. Washington is a very good team in the making and their quarterback Jake Locker, will be a household name in a few years. That kid can play. Buckeyes didn't capitalize on good drives in first half and had a few mistakes. Boeckman has another good outing and Chris "Beanie" Wells has another 100+ yard day.

Here is to gatorunvrsy for saying James Laurinaitis is overrated. HAHA you were wrong!!!

James Laurinaitis stats vs. Washington
2 int, 8 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack

Congrats on the win. I couldn't see the game because I was at the Gator game, but it appears you guys dominated the game. I admit I was wrong about thinking it would be a much closer game.

Thanks. It was really close in the first half. Ohio State lead the entire first half 3-0 but Washington score on the last second of the 2nd quarter. I was telling some others that the Buckeyes always have been and still are a second half team. Washington is a really descent team but just kind of fell apart in the 2nd half. They have a lot to be proud of and actually have a great quarterback in the making with Jake Locker. That kid could run and scramble like no other and was blazing fast. He reminded me of the Nebraska quarterback from about 2001 Eric Crouch. The announcers yesterday were saying that he is a better scrambler than Vince Young! But he could throw the ball too. BTW, Congrats on the win yesterday, you guys looked like you did on Jan 8th.

Nice win, Killer. You were right: 21 point spread was doable. I just thought UW would play the second half like the first half.

nice win against a good opponent on the road!

Congrats KN...I didn't doubt that OSU was good team...but Washington seems to be a tough team. OSU dominated them...good win for the Bucks...who appear to be the class of the Big 10 yet again.

Washington could surprise some people. Their quarterback is the real deal for a redshirt freshmen.

Thanks, The Big 10 is wide open this year with 7 undefeated teams remaining. Just to think that the ESPN crew said Florida has the scariest offense in the country! Watch out!

Animal jr. is a pretty good LB, IMO. He is definitely a play maker and he will go high in the draft.

He might be tempted to leave after this year.

YES!! Check the "Most overrated player thread" in the football forum from about 2 two months ago. It sparked a huge controversy.

OSU may be the best team in the Big 11 this year. I was impressed how they came back after Washington went up. They rolled out west and handled their buisness. Too bad for OSU the conference (with the exception of PSU) looks down. That might hurt their SOS.

On the other side of the ball Ty Willingham is doing a pretty good job resurrecting that program. I remember my first bowl game was watching them destroy Emmit Smith's Florida team in So. Cal in the late 80's. He's getting them back to those days.
