Default Dyer, Seastrunk, Lattimore
Rank 'em.

This may have already been done, but where do you rank these guys, based off what you've seen of 'em?

Mine:

1) Seastrunk- he looks to be the fastest of the three. To me, neither one of the other two have to ultra smooth running style that this guy has.

2) Dyer- His running isn't as smooth, but when he's healthy he's a nightmare to bring down. I think this guy could be the second coming of Ben Tate/Ronnie Brown.

3) Lattimore- Probably the best vision of the three (maybe second to Dyer), but he is deceptively fast and hits the hole HARD. I love this guy's vertical running style.

Dyer is ours, but I'd take Seastrunk or Lattimore either one to flank him and McCalebb in the backfield.

I think Seastrunk is head and shoulders better than both. I think with Dyer/Lattimore you are getting about the same type of back. I think they are pretty even.

Why is this in the Auburn forum? Lattimore will be a Gamecock. Recently, when his buddy from byrnes committed to the Gamecocks, Lattimore was there leading the chant "USC, USC, USC!" and the commit, Nick Jones, was quoted as saying about Lattimore during that event "he knows where he wants to be, where he should be". Its been understood from the beginning of the process that Jones and Lattimore wanted to play together...getting the commitment from Jones just serves as more proof where Lattimore is ending up.

I think most AU fans concede that lattimore is gonna be a gamecock. he has every reason to be with the kid and all. It has nothing to do with where hes going...its about ranking the top 3 backs. PM a mod to move it if it upsets you that much.

Naw it don't upset me- I didn't mean for it to read like that. Just a little friendly ribbing...I'd prolly agree that Seastrunk is the best of the 3, with Dyer and Lattimore being very even

I know bro..just bustin your chops. In all actuality, being the chances with us and Lattimore is getting slim to none...I want him to be a gamecock. I heard he was looking at UGA hard at one time,I hope you guys can keep him at home.

I think UGA is the darkhorse...Lattimore's mother really like's Richt. But with Richt bein on the hot seat, that's not as big of an issue as it could be.

But Lattimore's mother also likes Carolina a lot, and his sister goes to school here too...so we've got that goin for us.

Lache def looks the best from what I have seen

Dyer and Latti both have there strengths, hard to really rate who's better. I would rather have Dyer though

Lache is the best, but they do different things. Now that we have Dyer I'm praying we get Lache as well, they would complement each other amazingly on the field. Like McCalebb and Tate early on in the season, only better.

Yeah, I've been thinking Latti will be a Gamecock... there's just been alot of talk surrounding these guys since they're the top 3 backs in the country. I was just kinda curious to see if I was the only one thinking Lache is the best back. Lattimore and Dyer are sooooo close- but I hope you guys land Latti over UGA.

I've gotta agree that Lache looks to be the best back, but I'm not so sure about the Dyer/Lattimore statement- Dyer has been hurt as of late, and he has kind of an awkward running style. That being said, I'm stoked that we landed him and if he gets healthy he will be a BEAST. What do our chances with Seastrunk look like?

I think it helps our chances alot that he is taking an official with Reed and Dixon in January. I think he really dont know what he is gonna do yet. He really dont give the media anything, but I think his decision will be made right before signing day. If we could get Dixon to lean our way then it would help alot with him.

Well, then, on that same note- how do you like our chances with Reed?
