Default Desmond Howard's Favorite Mascots/Traditions
On ESPN's College Football Live, Desmond Howard just ran down his list of his favorite mascots/traditions. Guess who was his #1:

Even though it's not our mascot, I guess this falls under the category of "traditions", and I'll take it.

Others on the list were: 5) Boomer Schooner, 4) UGA, 3) Mike the Tiger, and 2) Bevo the Longhorn.

Compliments of nellanaesp.

For those of you who haven't seen this tradition in person, it truly is one of the most unique and intense traditions in the nation.

I've never seen it, but my buddy says it's pretty spectacular.

I think the UC Santa Cruz banana slug is a pretty cool mascot.... unique if nothin' else. Plus, Vincent Vega wore a UCSC shirt in Pulp Fiction.

I've said it before and I will say it again: it is truly an impressive spectacle. (But if you are seeing it from the upper decks, you'd better have binoculars.)

True, the perfect place is actually the student section because Nova (the eagle), since she is only 1 or 2 years (I can't remember) into this deal, doesn't usually make it the whole way around the stadium but once she gets to the student section J-H is going nuts.

Auburn has come up with some unique traditions like we were te first to create the Tiger walk. Rolling toomer's corner and now nova flying around the stadium

Throwing toilet paper in trees after beating Western Kentucky is not cool.

screw Desmond Howard. how about the tradition of the Sweater Vest owning his alma mater year in and year out?

(BTW i like the War Eagle. this has nothing to do with Auburn. i'm from Columbus, i have to hate Desmond Howard. it's the law.)
