Just read on Scout that Wes Rea (OT) is coming to Auburn for a WEEK LONG baseball tournament and he said he is interested in the Tigers. I think this is a big opportunity for our staff to really put their foot in the door if they can talk to this guy for a full WEEK. One of the biggest selling points for this kid, also, is that we are in dire need of offensive linemen and he said that's really appealing to him. He's 5 stars! Wow when they said he also played baseball I though 4 at best. This is huge. Having him on the plains for a week gives us a great edge.

Where did you see he was 5 stars? I see 4 on Rivals and 3 on Scout.

They must still be doing what they did last year where whenever a prospect was interested in Auburn they would move him down a star...

I know a kid that is a teammate of Lache Seastrunk and good friends with Lattimore and Dyer through all-star games. He said Lache is pretty much going to Texas but he said Lattimore and Dyer both could commit to Auburn before the end of July. (I know its not a reliable source but I trust him). We have all 3 visiting for the big july weekend thing.

I know for a fact that Lache will not be going to Texas barring some kind of a coaching change -- which will never happen. I've got a buddy who writes for tharinger.com and he talks to Lache. Lache will not go to Texas.

Lache hasn't indicated where he will attend school , but anything but LSU would SHOCK me.

You aren't getting Lattimore. The kid has been all USC since birth.

Suppose where not getting Dyer either based on your mentality. It isn't over till signing day.

You're right. Nothing is certain in recruiting until the LOI is faxed in.

I post my opinions knowing that full well. And they are just opinions and could be wrong. Just how I see it.

I've already said I think you guys get Dyer and Dakota Mosley. That's the only top-tier back you land though.

Keep on stealing them from Bama.

that would go against all the talk of Texas of all but giving up on recruiting Lache Seastrunk

i dunno sounds rough, i would have though Lattimore as the biggest longshot of the 3

Texas will never stop recruiting the top prospect in Texas especially when their weakest position is RB.

Michael Dyer officially has a top three with Auburn on top followed by Notre Dame and Oklahoma.

He's changed his top schools around a LOT, but the one constant is Auburn. You gotta love that.
