Eight-Run Fifth Sends Auburn Series Sweep Of Troy, 13-8 Auburn scored eight runs in the fifth inning to complete a home-and-home sweep of Troy, winning 13-8 on Wednesday night at Riddle-Pace Field. All nine starters recorded hits and scored at least one run as Auburn pounded out 16 hits on Wednesday, a night after recording a season-high 22 in Tuesday's 26-6 win.
