missed the game Saturday due to what's being called a "mild stroke." I'm pretty sure he's not going to play at Florida Saturday either. Anyone heard anymore news on this? I've read varying reports, (none of which I'd call reliable), saying he'd be out anywhere from 2 more weeks to never playing football again. Anybody heard any news on this?
Petrino said he couldn't add anything else from his Post Press Conference Saturday. Just that more test are going to be run and that Joe is feeling much better and wants back on the practice field.
Heard on the radio today that basically he went to get checked out due to his migraine problems and the Dr. said he had at some point had a mild stroke. Don't know though, I also keep hearing that he could be back soon or never again. Who the heck knows...
If your head is hurting bad enough to go to the doctor and an MRI shows you had a stroke that isn't good. No different than if you went in for chest pain and the ECG shows you had a heart attack. Hopefully it's just ischemia and not permanent damage.
Joe Adams is a definite no go for Saturday in Gainseville, but just read that Jarius Wright is more than likely going to be on the field against Florida.
More news: Apparently, Mallett practiced today with his throwing hand wrapped in tape (big deal right), but Hogville.net is treating this as a season killer.

Before you know it, Hogville posters will have Mallett getting his hand amputated tomorrow.

This guy who apparently passes for a sports journalist posted an article on Hogville about this "injury". I guess he didn't notice that Mallett played pretty much the entire
4th quarter of the Auburn game with his hand wrapped, and seemed to be just fine.
Side Note: That's my main problem with Hogville. They have several sports journalists (print and television) that not only post on hogville, but they're moderators as well.
Not too long ago, the Fayetteville ABC affiliate broke a story and someone linked it onto hogville, but an hour later the guy from KNWA, a moderator as well, had deleted the thread and posted his own article which he then called a "scoop."
Hogville has gotten a LITTLE more bearable, even though I don't post there, but the people over there will run with a minor detail and turn it into Armageddon at the drop of a bucket.

Hell jacobp, the problem with Hogville is that place is like a freakin diaper. Full of schitt wads and arseholes.
They could learn some things from SECTalk. Not only are our moderators always on the job, but they are patience with long lasting members always there for them each step along the way to help with what ever life's little boo boos may dish out.
We're lucky.
Great news on the Joe Adams front. He practiced with the team yesterday, although was held out of some of the high contact drills. Seems to be coming along. I highly doubt he plays against Ole Miss, but its looking more and more like he plays again this season.
