Default Breakout Hog
What's everyone's predictions on a hog that will break out this season and push his name into NFL draft talks?

Well Peyton Hillis isn't someone who a lot of people talk about, but he will go in the first round, instead of a predicted 2nd.

Casey Dick will also have a breakout year.... not because of a new offense or the players around him etc, etc, the kid can just play. Most haven't seen it yet, but he goes into next season with a clear head, no competition, and a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He will be out to prove that he deserves the position he's given, and to prove that Arkansas is a force to be reckoned with in the SEC.

Marreral Richardson is also going to have a breakout year, if for no other reason than he will be forced to because of lack of depth and experience on defense. He will rise to the occasion.

That would be nice, but it doesn't seem like anyone drafts fullbacks that early. We can hope.

PLEASE be right. I was not impressed with his accuracy or decision making most of the time last year. Yet he was far better than Mustain in the games I was able to watch. Despite the numbers.

Felix Jones probably won't breakout more than he has, but he should cement himself as a later round pick. I mean he could start anywhere else in the country if not for McFadden.

He's either a Soph. or maybe a Jr. so it really isn't for this draft year, but Jerrell Norton (sp?) should have a good year with Houston gone. The guy is sickeningly fast and should be really fun to watch.

No doubt, Dick has had consistency issues. As with anyone there is no way to tell for certain what is affecting him, because it is as much a mental thing as it is a physical, but I would like to think injury affected him last year. Because his Freshman year, he showed a lot of promise going in for a rattled RoJo.

Is it possible Felix might stay another year after D-Mac gets drafted?
Seems like taking a full year as a starter would be a good idea plus it'd be nice to have one of those two one more year.

That would be nice. If he goes I won't be surprised, but if he stays I will think he is being smart because he will be able to prove himself as a starter. Someone on here started a rumor (I don't know the truth of it) that Arkansas is going to get a commit from DeAnthony Curtis the no.2 all purpose back in the nation behind Sam McGuffie the no.1 all purpose back out of Cypress Texas, who is also seriously considering Arkansas. So, Arkansas may very well, be set whether Jones stays or not. Of course if he DOES stay we get Jones one year, Smith the next and then who ever steps up after that from the group of outstanding RB's Arkansas has coming in.

On a related Note, good pickups on OL bode well for the Hogs.
